Born in 1985, Anton Ballet develops a patient practice in which each sculpture emerges from an obstinate quest. He collects and sets aside fragments of wood, searching among them for those which, once assembled, reveal a form that is balanced, contemplative, and quietly resonant.
The essences are reworked, polished, refined, until their singular brilliance comes to light. From this process arises a formal clarity, a simple verticality charged with presence.
Rooted on marble bases, his sculptures acquire an almost ritual dimension. The alliance of wood and stone amplifies the aura of these compositions—both archaic and contemporary—inviting contemplation.
